NO-WAKE ZONE/ BUOY PLACEMENT APPLICATION REVIEW COMMITTEE
The Lake Norman Marine Commission is seeking applicants for its No-Wake Zone/ Buoy Placement Application Review Committee. The three-person committee, established by the LNMC in February 2022, is charged with the duty of determining if an application requires further review by law enforcement. The committee members are appointed to three-year terms. The term lengths are to remain staggered so that one member of the committee is reappointed/ replaced annually during LNMC’s first meeting of the calendar year.
Applicants should have a thorough understanding of local and state boating safety laws and regulations. Appointments will be made to fill a one-year, staggered term and a two-year staggered term.
